Dr Irene McGrath

Managing Director

Irene holds a B.Sc. in Analytical Science and a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with extensive experience managing regulatory departments in industry and leading teams of consultants. Since founding Kerona Scientific Ltd. in 2014, she has worked with clients worldwide to support regulatory approval and market access in the EU and UK for fertilisers and plant biostimulants, plant protection products, biocides and REACH. She has been involved for many years in the development and regulatory management of plant growth regulators, fertilisers and plant biostimulants, supporting data generation, national market placements and ongoing compliance under the EU Fertilising Product Regulation (EU) No 2019/1009 and the Plant Protection Products Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009. She also actively contributes to regulatory discussions through participation in working groups of the European Biostimulant Industry Council (EBIC) and the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA) on behalf of clients.
